Yesterday, we drove up to Seattle to visit a friend for his birthday. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen this family. Their daughter has grown so much since that last time I saw her earlier in the year. She’s now running around, throwing balls, and saying Hi to everyone. Such a sweetie.

We also stopped in Tacoma to pick up a Rain Barrel for the back of the house. Curiosity had us stop at the newly remodeled Southcenter Mall. We used to live up the hill from the mall, and would do a lap or two around the mall on rainy days to get some exercise. Now, it’s almost twice the size with all these crazy new stores, which are just off shoot brands of other stores that are already in the mall. The mall also features a new food court, 4 premium restaurants, and a movie theater. It’s certainly not the same as the South Shore Mall here in Aberdeen.
