I made a doctor’s appointment today for Dec. 28th. I haven’t been in sometime. I think 9/2007 was the last time I’ve been. I know… bad. However, I’m taking care of that now. I post it here, as the blog is easily searchable.
The wordpress app for iPhone has been buggy for almost a month. I know they are in the process of a more stable release, but in the meantime I’ve been searching for a mobile blogging alternative that would allow me to still post to this site. So, here is a pretty picture from a recent sunset to see how the posterous app treats an actual post.

Paparoni’s Pizza – Captain Cook, HawaiiPosted by admin in My Life In Hawai'i, photos, tags: hawaii, paparoni's, pizzaPaparoni’s Pizza is one of those businesses you always drive by and wonder why you never stop there. This little eatery is located just across the street from the Captain Cook fire station, and always seems to be advertising some pizza/beer special. Craving pizza, after grocery shopping at the near by Choice Mart, we decided to give Paparoni’s a try. I was in the mood for breadsticks, and decided to try their “pink sauce” which turned out to be a mix of fresh tomato sauce and their cream sauce. It made for a nice light sauce, not too thick or creamy, but then again this isn’t the normal sauce they offer as a dipping sauce. I could see how this was more of a nice light pasta sauce. What can I say I wanted to try something different. Originally, we only wanted a small two topping pizza, but the specials made it cheaper to get a larger pizza with more toppings. We opted for the Hau’oli Hawaiian, which normally has Canadian Bacon, Pineapple, and Tomatoes. However, the were out of tomatoes and offered extra pineapple. The crust was think, a little too yeasty for my taste, but still good. They do make a lovely pizza sauce, and the pineapple was freshly cut and sweet. Topping were generous for the price. Service was fast and very friendly. Overall, Paparoni’s was an enjoyable dining experience. Paparoni’s Pizza & Pasta
