The Big Island Farm Fair opened last night at the Old Airport Beach Park. We arrived a little early to visit the Ag Booths, and then stood in line to get into the carnival area. Tonight, was $1 night, the cheapest night to get into the event. It was a little odd to have to spend money to spend even more money. Typically, the gate admission includes the farm/ag booths, but the ag booths were free in the Pavilion.

I thought it was worth a dollar to walk around and see all the people having fun. As well as take a few pictures. I only had the iPhone with me, and wasn’t able to get any cool night shots. However, there are lots of nice rides if you want to practice your long exposure photography.

Tickets were $1 each, and most rides, like the Zipper, were 6 tickets. You can purchase a discounted ticket pack from ticket master, but they aren’t offering wristbands at the event. So, if you want to save a little money with a Bonus Ride Vouchers visit the Walmart Ticketmaster or purchase them online.
